Hospitality
The hospitality industry has always had a need for a pest-free environment for its clients, but that need has become even more critical with the recent rise in bed bug infestations. What used to be a problem that was only in big cities on the East Coast has now become an endemic throughout the country. Bed bugs know no economic status – outbreaks occur in both the largest and most expensive hotels as well as the smallest motel on the interstate. The key is early detection followed by prompt mitigation efforts to eliminate the infestation before many more rooms are affected. A regular inspection and monitoring program will help to reduce this threat and minimize what can be a costly control effort. Most rooms can be treated in one day, thereby reducing the “down time” and lost revenue.
